If you missed our email update then here it is. We can't wait to see you all at Secret Cellars.
Of course the venue is still a secret and all will be revealed on the day via Facebook and email (15 mins from the CBD; direct train from Bondi Junction). Last week we went down to do a sound check and the place is ready to rock. Picture: red velvet curtains, dark alcoves, scantily lit bars and a pulsating atmosphere. That's what awaits you at Secret Cellars. Not to mention the SECRET chill out lounge, for those of you who can find it…
We have a not-so-secret mix of acts on the night. DJ's Emma Salmon and Scott Walker will be kicking things off, joined by Timmy Bongo on the drums to get the party started. Fingertips and Bobby Gray will then take things to the next level with a live performance on the main stage. Dave Goode and Problem People will take out the top spot with a host of special guests joining them on stage. But that's not all folks, make your way to the chill out lounge where your ears will be teased with some handbag bangers and huge house tunes.
Now, it is a prohibition party so we have made sure to have the best hooch on offer. We will have $5 house beer and wine, $6 bellinis, $7 mixed spirits and $7 Young Henry's.
The Dress Code:
If you are going to drink like it's prohibition then dress like it's not. Should you feel like playing dress up then here is a great list of costume shops in Sydney provided by the crew at The Urban List.
Last but not least, TICKETS. If you haven't managed to score yourself some don't hang about too long as supply is rapidly running out.
